Who is Gregory Dowell?I'm an architect. Well not legally. I'm technically an architectural intern. I have a Master of Architecture with a concentration in Historic Preservation. I'm still completing my internship and I haven't taken any sections of the ARE. Just small technicalities. But I still get to work on cool old buildings.I'm a photographer. Last time I checked there is not a legal standard for such a claim. Just take a gander and you'll see I'm not lying. I'm self taught. My favorite subjects are, not surprisingly, buildings. Old buildings. Though I also enjoy photographing landscapes, both rural and urban, especially the landscapes of central Illinois. My photographs have placed at the Kentucky State Fair and one was recently published in The London Magazine. Any photograph you see on the site is available for purchase. And I encourage you to decorate your home, office, and time share with my shots.I'm an avid sports fan. My cheering interests are the Fighting Illini, Oakland Raiders, Oakland Athletics, Utah Jazz, and Tulsa Shock. I may be lying about the Tulsa Shock.I'm a traveler.. I've been to Greece, Egypt, Peru, Italy, Germany, Hungary, and the Czech Republic. As well a lot of the United States. I particularly enjoy a road trip - say Chicago to Yellowstone. And I want upcoming travel destinations to be Turkey and Brazil.I'm a doodler. I've been doodling since 1st grade. It's a miracle I learned anything in school.I'm a comedian. I'm always writing material for a still TBD stand-up comedy routine. It's been a while since my last official performance.I'm a chronic Facebooker.
